Is there a DRESS CODE?
IT'S A SPECIAL DAY, SO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO DRESS NICE. SOMETHING FESTIVE OR SUMMER ELEGANT WOULD BE GREAT. JUST DON'T FORGET YOUR DANCING SHOES!
Does it have to be an INDIAN ATTIRE?
NO, YOU DON'T NEED TO WEAR AN INDIAN ATTIRE. BUT, IF YOU WANT TO, SURE YOU CAN.
Why are we sending the KIDS home?
WE ARE HAPPY TO WELCOME YOUR KIDS TO THE CEREMONY. HOWEVER, TO ALLOW ALL WEDDING GUESTS, INCLUDING THE PARENTS, A NIGHT OF RELAXATION AND CAREFREE CELEBRATIONS, WE RESPECTFULLY ASK THAT NO CHILDREN ATTEND THE RECEPTION, WITH EXCEPTIONS MADE FOR OUR OUT-OF-TOWN GUESTS.
WE HAVE SCHEDULED A TIMESLOT FROM 17:15 TO 18:00 WHEN YOU CAN HAVE YOUR KIDS PICKED UP OR HAND THEM OVER TO GRANDPARENTS OR A BABYSITTER.
Is the Venue KID-friendly?
MARIENSCHACHT IS LOCATED ABOVE AN OLD MINING SITE BUT, THERE ARE NO OPEN HOLES, CAVES, OR TUNNELS. MARIENSCHACHT HAS A ROOM ON THE FIRST FLOOR WHICH SERVES AS A BACKUP CEREMONIAL PLACE IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER. PARENTS COULD USE THIS ROOM WHEN THE KIDS NEED A BREAK.
Is there a PARKING SPACE?
YOU CAN PARK DIRECTLY AT THE VENUE. THE SPACE SHOULD BE SUFFICIENT TO ACCOMMODATE ALL OUR GUESTS' CARS.
Do I need to prepare something for the INDIAN CEREMONY?
DON'T WORRY, WE WILL HAVE A SHORT AND SWEET VERSION OF A SOUTH INDIAN HINDU CEREMONY THAT LASTS ABOUT AN HOUR. ALL PEOPLE INVOLVED WILL BE BRIEFED BEFOREHAND AND IF WE DIDN'T ASSIGN YOU A SPECIFIC FUNCTION, YOU CAN JUST RELAX, WATCH AND SHOWER US IN FLOWER PETALS WHEN THE TIME COMES.
What can we GIFT the happy couple?
WE COULDN'T HOPE FOR A BETTER GIFT THAN YOU CELEBRATING WITH US. IF YOU TRULY WANT TO TREAT US, YOU COULD SPONSOR A PART OF OUR WEDDING EVENT. PLEASE CONTACT OUR WONDERFUL WEDDING PLANNERS FOR FURTHER DETAILS.

WE ARE COOL WITH SURPRISES, GAMES ECT. BUT, THERE IS A TIME SCHEDULE IN ORDER TO ENSURE A SUCCESSFUL EVENT. THEREFORE, WE KINDLY ASK YOU TO CONTACT OUR WEDDING PLANNER ANIKÓ AND HER TEAM TO HELP YOU WITH THE ORGANISATION.
I need a HOTEL, can you help me?
PLEASE INDICATE IN YOUR RSVP IF YOU NEED A HOTEL. WE WILL THEN RESERVE A CONTINGENT OF ROOMS AT A HOTEL AND INFORM YOU HOW TO BOOK YOUR STAY. ALSO, WE STRIVE TO MAKE YOUR STAY WITH US AS EASY AND PLEASANT AS WE CAN, BUT WE REGRETFULLY CAN NOT COVER THE COST OF THE HOTEL FOR ALL OUR GUESTS.

Marienschacht's Guidelines for a Memorable Celebration!
House Rules:
To ensure an unforgettable celebration while also being mindful of the hosts' budget, we kindly request all guests to adhere to our house rules.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the house, except in designated outdoor areas.

Entry into the shaft is strictly prohibited due to potential life-threatening hazards.

Access to upper floors in the shaft is permitted only after consultation with the event organizer and at one's own risk.

Fireworks are allowed only with prior arrangement and notification, and must be registered with the relevant authorities. We maintain a good relationship with our neighbors and wish to preserve it.

Confetti cannons, balloons with confetti, and piñatas are not allowed. Any additional cleaning costs incurred will be charged to the host.

Sparklers must only be used outdoors to avoid damaging tablecloths and under-table cloths (molleton). Please refrain from using them near flammable objects.

Artificial petals are not permitted.

Please refrain from playing music in the outdoor area after 22:00.

Avoid attaching anything to glass panes.

Overnight stays in the building are not allowed.

The event organizer is the primary point of contact for any concerns or inquiries.

Please arrive before 12:15 to the venue.

Please note that flower bouquets as gifts are not necessary. While we love flowers, our venue will already be beautifully adorned with blooms. Consider this invitation as 'flowers optional'.

We're excited to have Elin, our wonderful child caretaker, helping out with entertaining the kids during the morning festivities. Parents, relax and enjoy while your little ones have a blast!

Between 17:15 and 18:00 we have intentionally not planned any activies so that the kids can depart from the venue.
